Knitting!

My daughter is pregnant with her first child, my 3rd grandchild - don't know if it's a boy or girl - time will tell :)
I have taken up knitting for the baby as my daughter is old fashioned that way and doesn't mind knitted things. So many young people abhor (my daughter in law is one) hand knitted baby garments these days, so I was really pleased she allowed me to do this. Mind you, I have had to gather a stack of books to remind me of all the abbreviations! I have started a jacket and then I have a blanket and rabbit to do.
There was a time when I could have sewn cot and pram quilts but alas it takes me a lot longer and baby could be 2 by the time I would be finished
