I'm back

I have been told off and told I'm a naughty blogger! Haha. It's true though isn't it? No defence as I've just sort of 'let it go'.
I did make a resolution to blog at least once a week but seeing as it's almost Valentines day I am starting rather late. This is because I have had to buy a new laptop (mine died) and I can not find compatible editing software. Windows 8 is quite a pain really so I'm looking forward to the new windows 10. So please forgive the photo.

To get back to crafting ....... I am starting this years wanderings with a card I made at a Jo Rice workshop this week. We stamped a Clarity 'bouquet' onto a piece of card and coloured it with Spectrum Noir pencils. Then we inked the edges with Brushed Corduroy distress ink and worked our way in with sequin waste to form a background. We then drew wavy 2 lines as a border which we blocked using a fine black pen. We mounted the artwork onto a card, added the Clarity sentiment 'Count your blessings' and a
little cord bow. Finally I decorated mine with flowers from Sweet Lilac.
I hope you like it.

I hope to post another card at the week-end as it is Valentines Day on Saturday and I am making a card for my darling husband. We have been married 40 years in June and we're still good together. That might just be a small miracle!

Thank you for stopping by today. Take care all.
